The Hightstown Pop Warner eBoard is responsible for annually appointing members of the Board of Directors of Hightstown Pop Warner.
The Duties of the Eboard positions are as follows:
President - Jennifer Havens
The President shall preside at all meetings of the Board and the Executive Board. He/She will be the Chief Executive Officer of the Board and shall have general charge and direction of the business of the Board, subject to the control of the Board. President shall attend Regional Pop Warner President meetings, communicate pertinent information to the board and manage Game day preparations for home games.
Vice President, Football – Britt Reid
The VP of Football shall oversee the day to day operations of the football program. He/She shall act as the point of contact for the Association’s football parents. He/She will be responsible for upholding the Pop Warner Code of Conduct for Football coaches and football parents. The VP will report any problems within any football division to the Executive Board. The VP shall see the problem through to its resolution. The VP shall be responsible for all Football administrative duties including, registration, certification and database management and will assist the President in operational preparedness for game day & tournament preparations.
Vice President, Cheerleading - Stephanie Oravsky
The VP, Cheerleading shall oversee the day to day operations of the cheerleading program. He/She shall act as the point of contact for the Association’s cheerleading parents. He/She will be responsible for upholding the Pop Warner Code of Conduct for cheerleader coaches and cheerleader parents. The VP will report any problems within any cheerleading division to the Executive Board. The VP shall see the problem through to its resolution. The VP shall be responsible for all Cheerleading administrative duties including, registration, certification and database management.
Treasurer - Jamie Adler
The Treasurer shall keep the fiscal accounts of the Board, including an account of all monies received or disbursed. At intervals of not more than one (1) month, he/she shall prepare or have prepared for the Board, a monthly report showing (1) all financial transactions from the previous month and shall provide copies for all Board members at the monthly meeting. In addition, at the (2)May Meeting, the Treasurer shall prepare a financial report for the said fiscal year, indicating the financial conditions of the Board. The Treasurer shall provide a copy of this report for all Board Members at the May Meeting. He/She may endorse for and on behalf of the Board, checks, notes and other obligations and shall deposit the same and all monies and valuables in the name of and to the credit of the Board in such banks and depositories as the Board shall designate. Treasurer will provide financial records for tax purposes annually.
Secretary - Stacy O'Donnell
The Secretary under the supervision of the President shall be responsible for recording the meeting activities of the Board and maintaining the appropriate files and mailing lists. In addition, shall be responsible for completing all correspondence of the Executive Board. The secretary will maintain responsibility of issuing minutes of the previous monthly meeting to members of the Executive Board / Board, within fourteen (14)-calendar days of said meeting, and make available copies of minutes at the next monthly board meeting. Secretary is also responsible for organizing and inputting Background checks into the official system for validation prior to the 1st day of practice each year.
The duties of the General Board positions are as follows:
Equipment Manager - OPEN
The Equipment Manager shall be responsible for the physical inventory, storage and upkeep of all the Association’s equipment. The Equipment Manager shall act as the Purchasing Agent for the Association in regards to equipment and uniforms. The Equipment Manager shall follow the purchasing guidelines outlined in Article VII, Section 7.
Assistant Director of Football Operations - OPEN
The Assistant Director of Football Operations shall assist the Director of Football Operations in the performance of his/her duties/responsibilities. The Assistant Director of Football Operations will also schedule qualified medical personnel for all home football games. The Assistant Director of Football Operations will be responsible for keeping proper inventory of medical supplies and will arrange for medical training for League coaches. The Assistant Director of Football Operations shall report any equipment needs to the Equipment Manager.
Assistant Director of Cheerleading Operations - OPEN
The Assistant Director of Cheerleading Operations shall assist the Director of Cheerleading Operations in the performance of his/her duties/responsibilities. The Assistant Director of Cheerleading Operations will coordinate any and all activities related to competitions. The Assistant Director of Cheerleading Operations shall report any equipment needs to the VP, Cheerleading.
Football Registration Coordinator - OPEN
Responsible for the collection and management of all documentation required for Pop Warner Football certification of registration books. The Registration Coordinator must be present at all in-person registrations, maintain orderly files and work with team parents to ensure collection of all required paperwork and payments.
Cheerleading Registration Coordinator - Gina Hildalgo
Responsible for the collection and management of all documentation required for Pop Warner Cheerleading certification of registration books. The Registration Coordinator must be present at all in-person registrations, maintain orderly files and work with team parents to ensure collection of all required paperwork and payments.
Facilities Director: Kathryn Cunningham
The Facilities Director will communicate with the scheduling department at the Hightstown Highschool to secure use of the football practice fields, cheer practice fields, gyms for cheer & main football field for game days. Facilities Director will secure meeting space for all board meetings and venue space for events as needed including for the annual awards banquet and any social/fundraising events for the organization.
Little Scholars Coordinator: Amy Rosenberg
The Little Scholars Coordinator will attend one meeting at the beginning of each season to learn the submission process for the little scholars program. He/She will calculate player/cheerleaders acceptance by reviewing collected report cards and calculating using the provided formula. He/She will then communicate to those players/cheerleaders who qualify for the Little Scholar program, collect and submit complete applications and then communicate to the board the winners each year.
Volunteer Coordinator: OPEN
The Volunteer Coordinator will manage log of all volunteer hours and communicate to the families when hours are needed for completion. Volunteer Coordinator will communicate delinquent families to the treasurer who will cash volunteer bond check. The Volunteer Coordinator will develop sign-up tools and communicate volunteer opportunities to the organization
Fundraising Coordinator: OPEN
Fundraising Coordinator will develop and execute fundraising programs for the organization. He/She will contact local businesses to secure canning dates for the organization and lead additional fundraising efforts.
Concession Stand Coordinator: OPEN
This individual will be responsible for securing the appropriate food license from the town, develop menu, and purchase necessary items for sale. All receipts for purchases to be provided to the treasure for reimbursement and tax purposes. The Concession Stand Coordinator will work with the Volunteer Coordinator to outline number of individuals needed to manage the booth including setup and cleanup for each game.
